Welcome to Soup to Windows!!

This is my space for all things me.  I might talk about my wedding, my house, my dogs, my habits, or things that just happen to be on my mind.  That’s ok with me–hopefully it’s okay with you, too!

Ok, so why Soup to Windows?  Well, prior to my wedding I was “soup” and after I got married I changed to “windows”.  If you can figure that out you get a virtual high-five!

Here’s a few faces to put with the names:

This is me and Mr. Windows.  We’re cute, I know.

We got married on May 16, 2009.  We were both 22.  I’m 357 days older than Mr. Windows and the day after our wedding I turned 23.

This is my favorite picture from our wedding.

This is our house.  Yes, we know it’s ugly.

This is Little Guy Ralphie.  He’s a momma’s boy.  He’s the cuddler.

This is Andre the Giant.  He’s a giant.  He is a daddy’s boy.

That’s me and my family.  We don’t have kids (yet) and we’re always working on making Casa Windows a little less ugly.

I’m my spare time I co-pilot an invitation blog with my great friend EmilyI also own a cake business that I try really hard not to let run my life. I’m officially retired from making cakes unless they’re cupcakes!!  On top of  those two ventures I work full-time for a big company which allows me to do a lot of almost-free cakes homework.

I retired from cake decorating because I am working on my PhD in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management.  Just call me Dr. Windows–in 2014 🙂

Please feel free to comment on my blog, read anytime, question anytime, and as always, please e-mail me anytime!  Kari_s {at} hotmail {dot} com
